New Guy on the block

Hello! I recently stumbled upon the Anthrocon videos on youtube. I was, quite frankly, shocked at how friendly people can be. Despite other people's opinions. I loved the Captain Jack sparrow Cosplay!

I'm inspired to join in, on the fun! Being 19, I just barely got out of school, and hardly have anything to my name. I'm a writer, so I'm hoping to make some money, not much, but enough to try and make it to the con. I'm going to make my own outfit, it'll be very different from what others have, but since I don't got the money, I'll just have to go with what I can get.

If everything goes the way I want, you guys might end up seeing a Klonoa Cosplay at the con. Or, at least mostly Klonoa. I don't like Klonoa's ears and Tail, so I'm gonna try and get a black Fox Tail and ears instead. Which, in turn, makes my character Seto.

Don't know who Klonoa is?

Out of all the videos I've seen on youtube, there are three furs out there, that I'd love to meet. Griefer, He's hilarious! I love the pie trick.

Duke. Your dancing skills... I've never seen better.

Yappy Fox. The Furcon video, they weren't nice to him, even though his song was just fine!

Welcome welcome. Anthrocon is indeed a fun event and it can inspiring for many. We hope that you'll be able to attend. One thing to keep in mind, many people completely create their own special and unqiue character, which can be very fun in it's own right.

So if you're inclined to do so, you're not restricted by trying to fursuit or Cosplay to a pre-existing character. Also keep in mind that not all the attendees at Anthrocon will be fursuiting, so there are LOTS of other things to do in addition to costuming.

We hope to see you in the summer!

Thank you for the warm welcome! Although, having a costume isn't required, I feel that I'd truly enjoy myself if I had at least something. It just feels like the experience will be so much more satisfying if I did something, similar to others. It won't be a 1000 dollar fur suit, but it'll still be furry!

When I saw that video about the guy who cosplayed Captain Jack Sparrow, I knew I wanted to do something, others will recognize. (Not as much as Jack, but still recognizable) and in it's own way, it'll be my character too! Now, now. I'm not going to cosplay a pre-existing character, and say it's mine, for what I have in mind, my costume will beable to wear different outfits. So, when I cosplay Klonoa, a simple wardrobe change, and he's Seto!

I definitely look forward to seeing everyone at the Convention!

P.S. 2 Gryphon is awesome!

Thank you. I'm really excited about the convention. My first time going to one, I can already tell, it's going to be great! First thing's first, however, I got to get this book done, if I'm going to raise enough money to go, hope it all goes well, if it does, I'll be seeing you all there!
