Regarding the deposit on Westin rooms

Some folks have received email confirmations that indicate that cancellation would result in the entire stay being charged. This is, of course, a misprint. The email is generated automatically, and someone put the wrong numeric field into the template. It is being fixed. In the meantime, do not panic. Only one night's room and tax will be billed when the reservation is made, and no additional charges beyond that will be made if the room is canceled. |

On the other hand, that would have made sure attendees would D-E-F-I-N-I-T-E-L-Y attend the convention by showing no mercy. >:3

On the contrary, I haven't gotten charged for my room yet. Is that a problem on my part or theirs?

I'd call them to make sure the reservation went through!

I was about to say the same thing and I was getting ready to call them myself. I then checked my card balance and found that the money had been taken out. I took a couple days, but it was charged.
