I love half-life 2, it's my crack, and as of late a training aid for when the hadron collider dooms us all. But, this last weekend it died on me. My friend and I's best guess is that the videocard failed, apparently this has been a widespread problem since 2007. So here's the question, should I bother sending it in to get fixed, warrenty is voided, or just buy a new xbox? I heard rumor as of late the price has dropped to $199, and I won't have to worry about any other critical failures for a while. |

In all seriousness, I don't know anything about consoles, but I'd at least give Customer Service a call and check out what options you have available.
