Anthrocon 2009: OMG Aliens! - Now Accepting DJ Auditions!

Are you a DJ? Anthrocon is looking for talented and skilled DJs to help keep the party going each night of the convention! (Thursday, Friday, Saturday).

Anthrocon requires audition mixes to be sent in by any DJs interested in performing at the convention.*

Rules for audition submissions:

1. Your mix must be 30-90 minutes in length
2. Your mix should showcase the genre of music you want to play
3. Beatmatching and Phrasematching is not required, but will factor into the selection process
4. Please include details on the equipment you use, and whether you would need Anthrocon to provide anything (mixers, turntables, adapters, cables, etc)
5. Please specify if you are auditioning for the traditional ballroom dances, or the "Fursuit Friendly" alternative dance, or both.

The deadline for auditions is December 1st 2008**. Any submissions sent in after this date will NOT be considered.

Submissions can be sent to dance-2009 at anthrocon dot org. If e-mail is not an option, we can work out another method. Just send an email to that address to get the ball rolling.

* Veteran DJs, that is DJs who have played Anthrocon in recent years, do not need to send in audition mixes. Simply state your interest in returning and you'll be added to the list for consideration.

** The list of DJs should be anounced by February 1st 2009
