Your very welcome and hopefully you can be back on the stage for more next year.
Unfortunatly i can't rave to the beat due to a back injury while workin' kinda a slipped disc from lifting more than one can handle. Hopefully i will be when my doc tells me i can. So,yeah i was the guy that stood around for the most part next to the front of the stage and yes, i like the feeling of that kick from the speakers....that's therapy for me.

Were you the guy that looked like he was from the matrix? I saw someone standing just off to my right with sunglasses on and thought he was from the matrix, he stood there the whole tme.

Yup,that was me
Been my style since before Matrix, liked the movie though.lol
I had my earplugs with me, though i had it in my left ear only where i stood though.
It wasn't that loud as compared to when i was facin'towards the speakers, it was extremly loud and i don't know how the others managed to be that close and not go deaf? lol
The sound system is great but lacks abit on the sub.

The answer is they don't. Standing next to the speakers at Anthrocon without ear plugs during the dances will probably damage your ears.
Let's all continue to be safe next year
With regards to the subs, there were a few moments where they needed tweaking, but we had 4 great big subs right in front of the stage, and I could feel & hear them anywhere in the dance area. Can you think of anything specific you found wrong with them?

I noticed the drop momentarily of the subs, though they still lack the kick and slightly distorted, it's still sufficient.
as an example and it'll definatley make everyone smile. The sound is deep, tight and moves alot of air in a very controlled manner in relation to the bass and kick.
Try hearing a 22" sub from MTX
Room accoustic wise, since the room is large with high ceilings and hard surfaces causing echoes, distortion and frequency cancellations. Makin' the sound of each frequency range stand out,the key is placement not how powerful the unit is.
Subs are to be placed 1 around each of the 4 corners of the room but doesn't have to be against the wall.
The loud speakers ideally should have 4 sets aimed down at an angle as they are with the additional 2 though on the opposing end. Following this layout as the subs on the outer and the loudspeakers on the inner rectangle prevents the frequency from mixing or hitting each other giving it a "conversing effect" or where each component of the music is heard here/there and not just a central blob of sound.
I'm not going to push to have it done to the sound system we have already. Which i feel is better than what i heard at other places. This is just alittle inside on how to make things sound better and is up to Anthrocon to decide whether to apply an idea/suggestion.

I was really impressed by it no matter how a "copy cat" some may seem to call it. I mean hey, if its got a good beat to shake your tail to, im in for it.

Please read the comments carefully as there was nothing "negative" said about the sets.
Being a "copy cat" or "wannabes" in the public is regarded as bad as it is using another persons style in a business sense and might infringe legal right(s).
Be as original as possible and your on the right "track"...catch my drift?

I must admit I was tickled in the precon dance. When Alphawolf played a mix of "We are the champions" "We will rock you" and "Put your hands up for Detroit". All while wearing his Red Wings jersey.

I'll tell you, it's always the way.
I have terrible luck getting my AC sets recorded and/or getting said recordings that may or may not have been recorded.
