Calling ALL Dj's!!! :3

If it is possible.....Think you guys could set up a small portion of the dance to do a small dance battle like thingie.

Could set up a big circle and then have a person step up one after another to a breakbeat or maybe a good song with a good beat.
Not technically stopping after each person but have them keep the line going once they themselves choose to be done or get too tired
( Id say just a couple seconds is enough for someone to bust out some moves.)

This is just a thought and Im the one throwing it out there.

Personally Id think Itll be awsome!!!

I wouldn't get your hopes too high up, a lot of the folks who go to Furry con dances aren't familiar with dance circles, and they end up not working so well, for a combination of reasons.

The last time I saw one form at a con dance, it pretty much killed the energy in the room because you had a lot of folks who wanted to partake, but didn't really know anything about breakdancing, and you ended up with 1 person dancing at any given point, and a lot of people standing still. That's not really the kind of atmosphere we're trying to create.

If you're an especially good dancer, you'll get an audience without doing anything special other than dancing. If you get enough really good dancers on the floor at the same time, then you might see a good dance circle form on it's own, but if you try to force the issue I think you'll be dissapointed with the results.

Hmm.............
You do have a point

I guess the best way is just to ease into a circle and not get the energy lost out of the whole dance room like you said.

Ok then
Tanku :3
I will do that

IMHO, the best time to do such a thing would be durring Tek-Fox's set for 3 very good reasons:

1. Most people are going to be worn out by then and only the hardcore dance music folk are going to be left.

2. He plays break-able music

3. I won't be playing records then, and thus will be able to participate.
