Any furs gettin' there Wednesday afternoonish and want to hang about? I know most of my gang are gettin' there Thursday, but Wednesday seems like a good time to be there early, meet new friends and socialise with old ones. If anyone would like to hang out, grab a snack and talk about STUFF(s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-st-t-t-t-t-t-t-t--t-t-t-t-tu-u--u-u-u-u-u-u-u-u-ff-f-f--f-f-f-f-f, see "Youtube poop" if you don't get it), let me know so we can potentially hang out :3 Or even better, if anyone knows me is showing up wednesday, lets paint the town! -ArtSlave/G |

permalinkhah... well darn. Looks like I'll be there Tuesday XD Ohh, my friend gets to see why I'm going to pittsburgh when he picks me up from the airport. I must stay with him for the night until I check in to the DT on the 25th.
X) he offered to let me stay with him 26 miles out of town, I think that would've been a bad mistake since I want to go to the con and wander around aimlessly in Pittsburgh.

I will be there, my plane arrives at 5pm'ish, so if i CAN get a good nights sleep when flying over atlantic i will be eager to help Kage and others on setting up. Just so that i have something to dig my hands into (i'm sorta workaholic, find it hard to sit down)
otherwise i will get lost in the fair city.
Plus i dont know jack 'bout American culture so it would just rock to do some chores or socialize, to get to know the American people. From Finland myself and just the sheer size of the city will a) get me lost b) get me to a wrong part of town c) something else, what?
I'm coming from so far away that i'll arrive on wednesday just to prolong my visit, and doing something to help would be awesome. I'd meet sgt.Steve too, who wanted to meet me

I plan to arrive on Wednesday, but I think I'll be helping Chiaroscuro with setting up Registration....which is a good way to socialize AND get some excellent volunteer hours in.

Yes; we require that you be at least walking and talking (or walking and wheeling, if you use a wheelchair) before you volunteer for us.

Actually, not so much an age limit but an extra step required. The Volunteer page is still being updated for this year, but it's safe to assume that what's stated on last year's page is still true:
(That May 1 deadline may or may not be true this year, but it's safe to assume that it will be within a few weeks of that.)

permalinkMe and my group of schlumps will be there mid wednesdayish (stressing the 'ish) Being it's me and my mate's first AC we will probably be locked in wonder for an hour or so just staring at the place before the major stampede ensues. Look forward to meeting new folk. Depending on when we get there, and more emphasis on depending, I and/perhaps my mate, may be able to lend a paw in any last minute stuff. Just look for the goofy doofus wearing his safari hat dumb ass grin plastered on his maw

I leave my place in the UK at 6am to fly out to Pittsburgh for the tuesday evening so ill be at the airport on tuesday night.....gotta organise something before going to pittsburgh on the wednesday too. Damn, wish id looked at the tourest board there, but im happy just to stroll round and see what i find *follows the shinies*
