Travel snax question

This may sound kinda paranoid, but I've been curious...
The FAA rules regarding what isn't allowed on airlines involves liquid items, including gels. Does the same thing apply to gelatin snacks like Jell-O or fruit snacks? I want to bring a few sweet snack items with me to the con but I'm not sure what they might say about a packet of chewy fruit snacks or anything like that.

As long as it isn't in your carry-on you can bring any food item. Smiling

yep. they don't check the stored luggage. I brount a bottle of liquor, some shark fin, and possibly one or two chinese home in my luggage home from china. But it all depends where you fly out of. Some places are meanies otehrs are more mellow, and other places they put their hands down your pants (never flying out of JFK again)

There is no real need to pack food. Theres a drug store a few blocks away, and a quik-e-mart across the street. I'm bringing very little and I'm driving in.

In answer to your question, I have brought two packs of those gummy fruit snacks on a plane before, and recently, and they really don't care. But to be safe, I would put it in my carry-on, we are kind of nervous now due to London & Glascov attacks...

Stupid attacks happened a day before I left Florida to come here... I was glad it wasn't increased to Red. XD -rather have it at 'or-ange'-
