New to Anthrocon?

Never been to Anthrocon before? That's okay, we have plenty of information on this website which will help you get to the convention, and get the most out of your Anthrocon experience once you arrive.

First, is packing for the con. We suggest reading the article What to Take to a Con. It will cover key things you should be sure to bring. Once you've decided to attend (you pre-registered to save time, right?), you'll want to try and get your friends to come as well. Here are some banners to help promote the convention.

Next, is actually getting to the con. We recommend visiting our travel page, which has info on getting to Anthrocon via a number of means. (planes, trains, automobiles, etc.)

Now that you're at the con, what to do? For starters, the document Tips for Getting the most out of Anthrocon will be of interest. Next, if you're on a budget, you'll definitely want to read Tips For Congoers on Strict Budgets. And finally, since we like to leave a good impression on hotels and restaurants that do business with, we would like to recommend that you read this guide on how to properly tip hotel and restaurant employees.
